Without 202, many young people would be on the street without any support or guidance.

What We Do

Face-to-Face Interaction

LGBT youth can come to one of District 202’s many monthly social events and participate in a variety of programs, often administered by youth. These events and programs offer community and can provide youth with a wide range of valuable skills and tools they need to be as successful as they desire as they move forward in life.

Each month, look for 2-3 programs that focus on a variety of skills and service; such as, Creative Expression, Social Justice, Life Skills, Health and Wellness and Social Interaction.

In addition, 1-2 community events will be hosted by District 202 around the Twin Cities and you can find even more events on our community calendar located on our home page.

Online Interaction

For the first time, District 202 can offer youth outside the Twin Cities a place to find community online through District 202’s web site and secure social networking environment. In addition, through our web site and our telephones, we will continue to refer LGBT youth and their families to opportunities and services provided by our community partners.
